Baby shower diaper cake

My first diaper cake.

I feel pretty proud of myself :)

You can buy the head band and tutu at hobby lobby in a kit, so I didn't really come up with this creation on my own, I just followed the instructions lol.

But still.  Go me! Haha.

BUT, now I know the basics to make one for next time :D

Trick or treat footprint craft

I saw this idea on Pinterest and thought it was a cute Halloween craft :) Eli is so ticklish, it was hard to paint his feet lol.

Hand print fish

This was our attempt at hand print fish.  Eli was not even a year yet so getting him to allow his hand to go flat was tough!  And I got some of his arm in the paint lol, so I guess those are eels?  Haha.  Daddy still appreciated it of course :)  I think I want to try this one again when he's a little older and do different colors or something, maybe to look like angel fish?

Halloween Hand print Wreath!

The kids had fun making this & it is so easy!  Just trace their hand onto fun scrap book paper and then cut it out.  For Eli's hand I just traced it once and used that first one to trace for the rest of his prints.  But Ashlyn decided she would trace her hand every time.  Then I just arranged them all how I wanted them and glued together.  Simple & makes a great keepsake!

Crayon Art!

{Look what I made!}

To make it I used:
64 pack of crayons (I just picked out all the white, black, grays and browns)
24 pack of crayons (to double up on the prettier colors)
16x20 canvas
Hot Glue gun
Blow dryer

I just glued the crayons to the canvas, but I made sure to have the label on the crayons out because I thought that made it look cuter lol. 

Then, I angled the canvas probably at a 15 degree angle.  DEFINITELY lay a towel underneath!  And behind if you can as well!  It took me a bit to get the right angle and distance between the crayons and blowdryer.  I learned to melt the bottoms of the crayons first, then angle the blowdryer upward.  If you keep it downward it just blows the melted crayon everywhere.  The melting takes time but the results are so much fun!
