The most important things... aren't things ♥

I am my kids biggest fan!!  They make me smile when nobody else can.  They make everyday worthwhile.  I couldn't imagine life without my kiddos!

Ashlyn Love
She just recently turned 7 years old.
She is a girly girl but likes to keep up with her brother and his friends.
She loves school and is an exceptional little reader.
 Her favorite color is purple.
She loves doing any sorts of crafts.
She loves to color and write stories.
She loves animals and music.
She does gymnastics and is competing in her first meet in 2 weeks!

Jaylon Moses
He is almost 10 years old.
His middle name is from his great grandpa.
He loves all things sports.
He loves to play video games.
He does his hair like Justin Bieber, so we call him Jaylon Bieber.
He isn't afraid to try new foods.
He likes sushi.
He loves Transformers.
His favorite teams are the Denver Broncos and the Utah Jazz.
Also the Wyoming Cowboys, of course :)

♥Being a mother means that your heart
is no longer yours; it wanders
wherever your children do♥

   A Mother's Prayer

Help me dear Lord, as a mother, I pray
    And bless these hands folded in prayer today;
May they be ever strong as they guide, as they teach,
Beings never too far for a child to reach.
May they never, with selfishness, try to dissuade,
Nor too quickly punish, nor too slowly aid.
May they point out the pleasures in laughter and song,
And may they show, wisely, the right from the wrong,
So that one day I'll know that I've helped all I can
To make her a woman, to make him a man.

Blazing Hot Wing Sauce... Yes Please!

My husband and our friend Paul decided to try and cook dinner out of a cookbook I recently got Bo for his birthday, called The Beer Lover's Cookbook. I found it at Spencer's Gifts in case you are interested. We weren't really sure what to think, but it turned out awesome! So here it is... Enjoy!

1 packet Good Seasons Italian Dressing (powder)
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
2 cups Frank's Red Hot Cayenne Pepper Sauce
6 tablespoons beer

If preparing with chicken wings:

In a bowl, combine all of the ingredients, mexing well. The sauce is ready to serve, either over chicken wings or as a dipping sauce for chicken tenders.

To prepare sauce with chicken wings: In a pot, boil the 1 to 2 dozen wings until they float. Place the chicken wings into a baking dish. Pour the Blazing Hot Wing Sauce over the wings. Bake the wings at 350 degress for 45 minutes or until desired crispiness.

This was so good! I should've taken a picture of the end results. I was so proud of them!  And, if you're interested in the cookbook, you can just click the link and get a great deal on Amazon!
